Bread Pudding

The following recipe is for a fairly basic bread pudding, a great way of using up excess bread. For variations, try including a cup of chopped bananas or half a cup of raisins.

Melt the margarine. Add the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Mix well. Mix in the bread and allow it to absorb the mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 45-50 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
